I will admit that "Nicholas Sayre and the Creature in the Case" was my primary reason for picking up this book. I wanted more stories based in the Old Kingdom and/or Ancelstierre. My only real complaint is that the story isn't long enough; I would love to see another novel (or two or three!).The other stories in the collection are also good. Some I enjoyed more than others, and several of them had me laughing out loud. Definitely a worthwhile read.
